OK, OK… so I get back to Hawaii from 3 weeks in Australia and disappear. No updates to Advanced Business Blogging or your other business blogs for a while. "What’s up?", "Where’ve you been?", and "Where are the pictures?"

Well I’ve got a good excuse for not blogging (business or otherwise.) :)

I’ve been enjoying my life since getting back from a grueling 3-weeks tour criss crossing all of Australia and haven’t been blogging for business at all. As a matter of fact, except for a few coaching calls, I’ve been off getting into some new real estate deals, and hanging out at the Triple Crown of Surfing here at home on the North Shore of Oahu.

I’m actually headed out right now to Sunset Beach to watch some trials but saw yet another email (yes Evana, I did get your joke too :D ) and thought I’d drop a quick note. I’ll have some pics from Australia up early next week.

Local hero and three-time world champ Andy Irons took the first jewel in the Triple Crown of Surfing (the OP Pro) at Haleiwa on Wednesday this week.

For all our Aussie friends… sorry but despite some great surfing & a close heat, Australian Adrian Buchan fell out early of the runnings in the round at 32.

If you want to check out the waves, surfing, and of course the beautiful people on the beach — you can get a LIVE video feed over at www.triplecrownofsurfing.com. This year there are commentators doing an excellent job of hosting the video feeds. Just click on the "Live Webcast" at the top of the page. (Another example of New Media Marketing in action!)

Remember, especially during this holiday time — there’s more to life than blogging and business. Some business bloggers blog about life, and some live it! Remember to do both! :D

And if you’ll be in Hawaii over the next few weeks and you’ll be up in our area on the North Shore, drop me an email so we can hookup. Here’s the remaining dates for the Triple Crown of Surfing:

» O’Neill World Cup of Surfing, at Sunset Beach, Nov. 24-Dec. 6, a $125,000 6-star World Qualifying Series finale.
